Reserves

The reserves is the area of your command where your ships wait to be deployed. You may not directly place ships into your reserves. The only way to get ships into your reserves is from the surviving step of combat. (See Combat)

Ships in your reserves do count toward your maximum ship limit. If your total ship count is more than your allowed maximum, then the system will start at your reserve area to delete ships.

It is also noteworthy that players may take ships in their reserves area into the next round from a previous round.
