Draw

If a player can capture all of an opponent's sectors in a round before the round ends, they will be declared the winner of the round. In the cases where time runs out for the round and both players will have sectors, the system will try to determine a winner by applying two tie breakers.

For the first tie breaker, the system will compare the sector totals against each other, and the player with the most sectors will be declared the winner.

If both players have the same number of sectors when time runs out, then the system will try to break the tie by comparing the number of sectors taken for the round. If one player has taken more sectors from the opponent than he lost to the opponent, that player will be declared the winner.

If after the second tie breaker is resolved and no winner has been declared, the system will declare the round a draw and award each player in the pairing a Draw result.

When the system calculates a Draw result, each player in the pairing receive 1 event point.

Intentional Drawing without playing is not allowed.

If two players choose to not actually fight each other during a round, normal time breaker rules will be applied to determine a winner at the end of a round.

If, after those tie breakers are resolved, the result for the round may still be a Draw, but we will not a provide an 'Easy Button' to receive a Draw for a round.

Players that receive 2 draws during a single event are automatically dropped from that event, even in the cases where the draw result was not intentional.
